Arabica Coffee
Arabica grows at higher altitudes, from 1000 to 1800 meters above sea level. Its coffee content is only of 1.4 percent, les strong than Robusta. It covers aound 70 % of the worlds production, and it has a reputation far better than Robusta. It has a very soft, aromatic and interesting afterflavour, caramel-like and a little bit acid too.
Arabica is grown in the following regions:
- Central America (Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama)
- South America (Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina)
- India
- Eastern Africa (Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, Mozambique)
- Papua New Guinea
